Juliee Beyt is the printmaker behind Atelier Redbud, a print studio creating hand block-printed and silkscreened textiles and paper goods in Austin, Texas. Juliee is an architect and a self-taught printmaker whose printmaking primarily took off during the COVID lockdown, when most architecture and design projects went on hold, and time seemed to slow down.
Each Atelier Redbud design begins as a hand-carved block and is often turned into a silkscreen for greater control over the final product. Banners, table runners, and pennants are each carefully printed and sewn on natural fibers - creating whimsical pieces of functional art to adorn the home.
